Local 1613's contract ratification meeting will be on Wed Aug 28th, 2013. It will be held at the UAW Local 249 Hall located at 8040 NE 69 Hwy, Pleasant Valley, MO. UAW 249 is located across from the Claycomo Ford plant. Polls will be open at 5pm and the meeting will start at 5:30 pm. We encourage all 1613 members to come and vote on your contract.

The Local 1613 General Membership meeting scheduled for August 15th has been postponed to a later date in the month due to possible contract ratification. Details on the new date and location will be passed on after determined.
July 27, 2013
Local 1613's signed a contract extension through August 31st with retroactive wages and benefits. The 1613 negotiations team continues to meet with the company on contract negotiations.
July 18, 2013
Locals 1613's Negotating Committee will meet with the company tomorrow, July 19th to start on contract negotiations.
July 10, 2013
The negotiating teams met with the Company today and discussed the Union's counter proposal to the Company's last proposal regarding the Cash Balance Pension Plan. The Company presented a minor change to the Union's counter proposal. The three locals are in agreement that we have progressed to the limit and have table this issue. The individual Locals will now proceed to the remainder of their negotiations.
June 21, 2013
The Company and all three Locals signed contract extensions through July 31, 2013 with retroactive wages and benefits. The negotiating committtee's for all three locals will be meeting on June 24th to discuss the company's counter proposal regarding the pension plan.
Local 1613 also represents employees at Edison Credit Union and are currently in negotations with ECU. Next meeting on June 24th.

Locals 412, 1613 and 1464 met with the company on April 29th to continue contract negotiations specific to the retirement plan. The company and each of the locals signed a contract extension until May 31st, 2013 with retroactive wages and benefits.
April 22, 2013
Pension negotiations resumed today and all three locals submitted counter proposal to the company. Next meeting Monday, April 29th.
April 9, 2013
Locals 412, 1464 and 1613 met with the company today. The company presented their counter proposal to the unions counter proposal. The unions have submitted some questions and requested more information. The unions have contacted the actuary to evaluate the companys counter.

Locals 412, 1464 and 1613 met with the company to counter the company's pension proposal of Jan 28th. The company has requested more information on the counter proposal. The next joint meeting is scheduled for April 9th.

Information has been received from the actuary regarding proposed pension changes. All three locals negotiating committees will meet tomorrow to start reviewing. We will let you know when pension negotiations resumes.

The company presentated Proposal D. At this time we are engaging an actuary to investigate the effects of the current proposal. We do not anticipate meeting with the company for the rest of the week.

All three locals met with the company today to consider management's alternate proposal for a new pension plan. Locals requested more data. Data was not complete. We will not be meeting on Monday, Jan 14th. It was agreed that all three locals will resume negotiations on Tuesday, Jan. 15th, provided the company has the requested information.

The Negotiating Team for 2013 are Dave Pinon, Jana Sperry, Russ Wiley, Todd Jones and Michael Smith. The next meeting will be Jan 11th to have open discussions on pension proposals.
